Depending on production needs, one may be asked to stay late occasionally.
Position
Summary:
This person will be filling different positions on the production floor depending on daily needs.
These positions include stacking boxes, slamming boxes, and dumping product out of boxes.
Job Duties / Tasks:
1.
AT ALL TIMES THE PERSON IN THIS POSITION IS TO HELP MAINTAIN A SAFE AND HEALTHFUL WORK ENVIRONMENT 2.
Inspect bags for tears, holes, or poor seals as you pack them in each box.
3.
Keep work area clean organized at all times.
4.
Put all product that is on the floor in the appropriate trash container 5.
Make boxes at a fast pace to supply packers 6.
Stack heavy boxes onto a pallet 7.
Dump frozen product out of 30# cartons so it can be repackaged 8.
Report any unusual happenings with the production line to the lead person or supervisor immediately.
9.
Make sure any product that sets off the metal detector is put to the side and inform machine operator.
10.
You may be asked to make boxes or apply labels to boxes.
11.
Stacking pallets Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1.
Verbal and communication skills are required.
2.
Need to have good eyesight and hand-eye coordination.
3.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
